Our faculty held the Arabic Preparatory Class Orientation Program for the 2026–2027 academic year. The program aimed to help new students who joined our faculty to get acquainted with the preparatory education and to support their adaptation to university life, emphasizing the importance and responsibility of learning knowledge.
The program, which started with the recitation of the Qur'an by our preparatory class student Hasan Balaban, featured a presentation by Prof. Dr. Orhan Gürsu titled “Betting, Games of Chance, and Combating Gambling in Virtual Environments.” In the presentation, students were informed about betting, games of chance, and gambling they might encounter in virtual environments.
Following this, our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Yasin Pişgin addressed the students and provided recommendations regarding the new academic year. In the final part of the program, the Arabic Preparatory Coordinator, Lecturer Hüseyin Güngör, provided information about the operation of the preparatory education.
The program concluded with wishes for our students' journey of knowledge to be enriched with information, wisdom, and good deeds, and for the new academic year to be successful.
