Graduation Excitement at Our Faculty

Our faculty experienced the pride and happiness of graduating approximately 150 students in the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

The graduation ceremony held on June 18, 2026, at Burdur Makü Lavender Hotel began with the reading of the National Anthem and the recitation of the Qur'an. Families, academics, and guests shared in the joy of the students' graduation, and emotional moments were experienced during the program.

Attending the graduation ceremony were Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Tekşen, Dean of Our Faculty Prof. Dr. Yasin Pişgin, Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Necmeddin Dinç, Burdur Provincial Mufti Dr. Ali Hayri Çelik, BİHDER President Cemil Çiçek, Diyanet Sen President Preacher Bünyamin Özdal, faculty members, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and many guests.

In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Yasin Pişgin emphasized the importance of knowledge and scholars in social life and wished success to the graduating students in their professional lives.

Speaking at the ceremony, University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar emphasized that our graduates have taken on an important responsibility and expressed that he gives special value to graduates who will contribute to the spiritual and moral development of society. Rector Dalgar wished success to all graduating students.

During the program, the top student Hüsna Sarıgüney gave a speech on behalf of the graduating students. Following that, a Turkish music performance presented by our faculty member Furkan Ceylan and his team received great acclaim. Diplomas and plaques were presented to the students during the program.

Meanwhile, faculty members and students also attended the general graduation ceremony organized by the university. During the students' transition, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar greeted the graduates, sharing in their joy, and was met with great interest from the students.

As our faculty bids farewell to its graduates as individuals who will serve their country and nation with knowledge, ethics, and a sense of responsibility, the graduation program concluded with the taking of commemorative photographs.
