National Symposium on Burdur Science and Wisdom Tradition at MAKÜ: "Hatiboğlu Family" Organized

The "Hatiboğlu Family" National Symposium, held on 25.09.2023 at the MAKÜ Conference and Exhibition Hall, began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. It continued with the recitation of the Qur'an by our Faculty's Dr. Lecturer Fatih Cankurt and the opening speech by our Faculty member Prof. Dr. Veli Atmaca on behalf of the symposium organizing committee. In the symposium, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar also expressed his happiness to be in this program full of loyalty and made a speech. After the speeches, the program continued with the Honor Panel. In the panel chaired by Prof. Dr. Azmi Özcan, a faculty member of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, retired faculty member of Ankara University Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Mehmet Said Hatiboğlu, retired faculty member of Marmara University Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. İsmail Karaçam made presentations on Some Evaluations on the Recitation of the Qur'an, retired faculty member of Erciyes University Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Cihat Tunç made a presentation on The Incorrectness of People's "Destiny" Concept in Terms of Belief in Fate, and retired faculty member of Akdeniz University Prof. Dr. İsmail Yakıt made a presentation on the Dates Dropped by Yakut to the Hatiboğlu Family. The symposium continued with the first session on Hatıbzâde Hacı Mehmed Re’fet Efendi. In the second session, the life of Prof. Dr. Mehmed Said Hatiboğlu was discussed, while in the third session, his scientific aspect was mentioned. After the fourth session on Ahmed Hatiboğlu and His Place in Our Music, a Sufi Music Concert was held in memory of Ahmed Hatiboğlu.
